I purchased Acclaim Extra from Seed World, which is made by Bayer. It is the only herbicide I know of effective against Japanese stilt grass, which is a rampant invasive lawn and forest weed in my part of Virginia. Seed World had the best price in the USA, including Amazon, which is important because this product is expensive, though not as expensive as it seems because only a small amount is required for the application mixture. Seed World shipped fast and followed up to inquire regarding both my experience and the effectiveness of the product. Acclaim Extra does work, but you likely will need to follow up and re-spray areas you might have missed after the outcome becomes visible. If you hit the weed, it will die. I give Seed World an A+ and intend to purchase there again.

I placed my first order recently with Seed World having come across it online. Everything looked good and easy to navigate with good pricing. Since I was out of the product I needed to order and it was close to the deadline for orders to be shipped that day, I called and a lovely woman helped me. I told her I was in need of this product and she took my order and said she would physically run it down to the shipping department. Which she did as I received it on schedule. Now THAT'S customer service above and beyond. So thanks to her I will be using Seed World definitely again.

Very disappointing experience. My husband ordered three 25-pound bags of sunflower seed, with one bag on the first order and two bags on a second order, spending more than $900 total. The first shipment we received was incorrect; we were sent a 40-pound bag of Bahia grass instead of what we ordered. We contacted the company, and they provided a return shipping label and shipped us a replacement bag for the incorrect shipment. All of the seed orders were received within a day or two of each other. We planted the seed in three separate fields and saw what appeared to be only about 10% germination. Because the results were so poor, we then tested the seed for germination at home and saw similarly poor results. For comparison, we had purchased seed from another company approximately one week earlier and planted it under similar conditions. That seed had what appeared to be at least 90% germination and is growing well. The difference in performance between the two seed purchases has been significant. I initially bought 1 lb. of Compadre Zoysia. I watch some utube see the best way to plant. I planted 13 trays of plugs and they spouted within 8 to 10 days!

Using seed world was great! Good prices on products and shipping is fast and well packaged. Highly recommend! Purchased 400lbs of grass seed for my lawn, even using shipping the price was better than buying local.
